Ingredients
For the Dough:
-3/4 cup all-purpose flour
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-3/8 cup vegetable oil
-2 large eggs
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For the Topping:
-1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar for rolling
Method
Step One
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, beat together the vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla extract until well-combined.
Step Three
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Step Four
Cover the bowl with cling film and chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
Step Five
Once chilled, preheat your oven to 350F (180C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step Six
Using an ice cream scoop, shape your dough into round balls and drop into the confectioners’ sugar. Roll the chocolate crinkle balls in the sugar until they are completely coated.
Step Seven
Transfer the coated balls to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until the tops have cracked and the cookies are slightly firm.
Step Eight
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
